Meet the Northshore Heights Team

Carrie holds her licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner with a certification in wound care.  As a Registered Nurse, Carrie can assess and manage all of the unique needs of our residents, ensuring that we are providing the highest level of personal care possible.

Alacie Viney brings 15 years of diverse nursing experience to her management role. A graduate of TCAT in 2010 with her LPN, Alacie has worked in various settings, including long-term care, home health, private duty, doctor’s offices, and travel nursing. Originally from Jefferson County and a longtime resident of Knoxville, she is passionate about learning and growing within her team. Outside of work, Alacie enjoys spending time outdoors and reading, while balancing her family life with three kids and two dogs.

Katharine Gaustad serves as the Business Office Manager at Northshore Heights, bringing six years of experience in senior care and a deep commitment to supporting both residents and staff. With a year of focused experience in business office management, she ensures daily operations run seamlessly while maintaining a warm, welcoming environment for everyone. Katharine values the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents, a sense of connection that extends beyond work to her life at home, where she and her husband stay busy raising their three children, cheering them on at sporting events, and enjoying time together outdoors.

Jesse joins Northshore Heights team with over thirty years of culinary experience in the healthcare setting. Jesse is eager to please the pallets of all residents with his entrees. In addition to overseeing his department, Jesse is often cooking, serving and engaging with our residents. In his free time Jesse enjoys spending time with his wife and eleven children.
