Executive Director
Carrie Catherwood
Carrie holds her licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner with a certification in wound care. As a Registered Nurse, Carrie can assess and manage all of the unique needs of our residents, ensuring that we are providing the highest level of personal care possible.
Admissions Director
Kellie Cunningham
Kellie joined the Northshore team in May, 2021. She has brought with her years of experience as a regional sales representative in the home health industry. While spending extensive time in Assisted Living communities, she realized she would love to build greater bonds with her clients. By working directly in our community, she has done just that! Kellie finds joy in helping families find a safe, loving and beautiful place to call home. In her free time Kellie enjoys hanging out with her husband, Charles and their fur baby Lucy.
Director of Nursing
Alacie Viney
Alacie Viney brings 15 years of diverse nursing experience to her management role. A graduate of TCAT in 2010 with her LPN, Alacie has worked in various settings, including long-term care, home health, private duty, doctor’s offices, and travel nursing. Originally from Jefferson County and a longtime resident of Knoxville, she is passionate about learning and growing within her team. Outside of work, Alacie enjoys spending time outdoors and reading, while balancing her family life with three kids and two dogs.
Assistant Director of Nursing
Shannon Bates
Originally from Pittsburgh, Shannon relocated to Knoxville in 2012. She earned her LPN license in 2022 and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). Shannon is passionate about providing compassionate care and making a positive difference in the lives of residents every day.
In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, spending time with her two children and dog, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Recreation Director
Pattaya Morgan
Pattaya began her caregiving journey in 2012 while helping a family friend with Alzheimer’s disease, sparking her passion for senior care. Over the years, she has served as a Lead Memory Care team member, Medication Technician, and Life Enrichment Director in both Memory Care and Assisted Living, building strong experience in resident engagement and clinical support. She earned her Associate Degree in Medical Assisting in 2013
As Recreation Director at Northshore Heights, Pattaya brings creativity, compassion, and heart to every program she leads. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, loving on her two dogs, and exploring the outdoors of East Tennessee.
Culinary Director
Jesse Tolbert
Jesse joins Northshore Heights team with over thirty years of culinary experience in the healthcare setting. Jesse is eager to please the pallets of all residents with his entrees. In addition to overseeing his department, Jesse is often cooking, serving and engaging with our residents. In his free time Jesse enjoys spending time with his wife and eleven children.
Maintenance Director
Andrew Orta
Andrew brings extensive hands-on experience in construction, maintenance, housekeeping, and facility operations. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, he is known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to step in wherever needed.
Andrew is passionate about helping others and believes in treating residents, families, and team members with respect, patience, and kindness. He takes pride in creating a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for everyone in our community.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys cooking, working with his hands, and bringing people together through food.
