I hope this letter finds everyone doing well. I am writing you to let you know of the upcoming changes regarding COVID-19 restrictions. The state of Tennessee and the Health Department is allowing visitations to open for Assisted Livings starting today, October 1, 2020.
We will be opening on a small and slow scale here at Northshore Heights in order to keep you all safe.
What will happen, if, we have no cases or possible cases of the virus, then the date will remain as stated above. The community will allow scheduled visitations only in one area of our community on the inside, which will be our private dining room on the Assisted Living side and for Memory Care it will be at the end of the hallway in our sitting area. The visitors can be no more than 2 at a time per resident, with social distancing and mask that will be worn. This is mandatory and no exceptions can be made.
If weather is permitted, families are welcome to use the patio area in the front. We have also added new and improved chairs for your comfort.
If at any time, a positive case occurs, then we will have to change back to no visitations.
We will also allow a beautician to start coming in on the same date. We will require the beautician to have a COVID test with negative results every two weeks. We will also limit the amount of people in the salon at one time. These will have to be scheduled as well. The beautician will be required to wear a mask while he or she is in our community.
My hope is that this visitation that starts up will help enhance everyone’s wellbeing and I look forward to seeing each and every one of you all that want to come in. Please call to schedule your visit or call me with any questions. 865-292-8705 or office at 865-444-1294.
